Ina Garten is well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy Award-winning host on Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002, and has been aired for 27 seasons till 2020. Ina began her writing career by writing nuclear energy policies and budgets to the White House. She initially found her career as stimulating intellectually, however she soon lost interest, and purchased a tiny grocery store that was called Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make the business extremely profitable prior to selling it and picking up the pen to begin writing her first book. The cookbooks were followed by many more, and magazines columnists that came later. The Food Network TV show also made its debut, and was a huge hit. In addition, she offers products ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and other equipment. Ina never went to a cookery school nor was she employed in a restaurant. She is entirely self-taught. Her name is known for her easy way of entertaining and easy cooking. Her most famous recipes are Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
