Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and actress most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She then acted in a number of Broadway shows before becoming a star on national stage with Li'l Abner in 1957. The same year, She recorded her first album, It's the Time for Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This film became an enormous success and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. During this time she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship to Lee Strasberg as his student. She signed on with CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood and Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary but she also was an accomplished television director on numerous series, including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for her childhood and teenage years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and she has settled down there ever since.
