Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she works with athletes. Annie is the only woman to be crowned the winner of both the CrossFit Games twice. In 2010, she was second. Annie Thorisdottir, a Icelandic weightlifter who is also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete as well as a popular media personality. It is a popular fact that she was the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. She also won Dubai Fitness Contests in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was born in and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. From a very young age, Annie was an avid sport fan who loved doing exercises. She took home numerous awards in competitions for school. She took part for the first time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games held in California In the event, she came out very well. Annie Thorisdottir's age was 31 years old (as in 2021). She stands at 5'7" and she weighs approximately 67kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California during 2009. She performed admirably in her first contests. She finished amongst in the top 10 out of more than 70. However she was unable to win any title she ended the competition in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. When she competed in CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed in seconds place and won the gold medal same year. Next year She took part again in CrossFit Games and was awarded the title because of her dominating performances. The first woman ever to win CrossFit Games. Annie was the first female to ever win consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her extraordinary performance. Also, in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and in the year 2021 she won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was created by Annie. Annie's rising popularity as an athlete has led her to become the model for a variety of brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. A few thousand people subscribe to her self-titled Youtube Channel, where she publishes training videos, family video, and travel vlogs.
